Borussia Mönchengladbach have secured their safety from relegation after a dramatic 1-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Bundesliga side were trailing 2-1 at the break but they scored through a stunning header by Christian Benteke in the 88th minute, securing a crucial point for their cause.
In the second half, Borussia Mönchengladbach continued to dominate and were soon leading 3-1 thanks to a brace from Marco Reus and a goal from Kevin De Bruyne.
However, the German champions couldn't quite get past the pressure from the visitors and were eventually denied by a superb save from Manuel Neuer in the 94th minute.
Despite this setback, Borussia Mönchengladbach remain in the title hunt and could still finish within a point of securing their safety from relegation.
The victory means that the Bundesliga leaders now face a tough task of ensuring they can stay up, while also avoiding a possible relegation to the third tier.
It remains to be seen whether Borussia Mönchengladbach can maintain their form and keep pace with the league leaders, but they certainly look like a team capable of challenging for promotion next season.
